Washington State Legislature passed Senate Concurrent Resolution 8402, which extends 26 emergency proclamations, including that related to the Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA) “until the termination of the state of emergency pursuant to RCW 43.06.210, or until rescinded by gubernatorial or legislative action, whichever occurs first…”
This means that in-person board meetings are not permitted until the end of the declared emergency or further action by our Legislature or Governor. For more detailed information, please see the latest entry on WSSDA OPMA Updates page.
